When mixed with Portland cement and sand, TCS Patch Binder creates a durable, workable patching compound ideal for correcting low spots and depressions up to 3/4" deep. It can also be used to fill cracks in asphalt or concrete courts before resurfacing and applying acrylic court coatings.

Tennis & Pickleball Court Surface Repair

Low spots and depressions can collect water and interfere with the performance of a finished court surface. TCS Patch Binder provides the acrylic component needed to create a cement-and-sand patching mixture for leveling these areas before applying court resurfacer and color coatings.

TCS Patch Binder can also be used for crack repair on asphalt and concrete sport surfaces, making it a versatile product for court renovation, resurfacing, and maintenance projects.

Coverage

One gallon of TCS Patch Binder, when mixed with sand and Portland cement, produces enough patching material to cover approximately:

0.86 square yard (approximately 7.75 sq. ft.) at 1/4" depth.

TCS Patch Binder

Surface Preparation: Surface must be cleaned entirely of dust, dirt and debris. Brush a thin coat of TCS Patch Binder in the dry, clean low spot and allow to dry before application of the patching mix. This acts as a primer. All repairs must be flush and smooth to adjoining surfaces for optimum results. New asphalt must cure 30 days prior to application. New concrete must cure 28 days prior to application.

Mixing Procedures: A heavy duty power mixer (drill with mixing attachment or mortar mixer) is recommended.

For patching and filling depressions, use the following mix design

Acrylic Patch Binder...............1 gallon

Sand (40 - 60 mesh)................30 lbs.

Cement....................................6-7 lbs.

(Thoroughly mix dry sand and cement together before adding to TCS Patch Binder.)

Application: Apply patching mix with smooth sided screed or trowel. Be sure to feather edges on patches. TCS Patch Binder patching mix should be applied in multiple lifts to achieve desired depth in patches greater than 1/2”. Use surface scraper or floor sander to tidy ridges of patch edges before completely dried.

Important: Mix thoroughly for only 2 to 4 minutes. DO NOT OVERMIX as this may cause excessive air entrainment and loss of strength. Temperatures must be a minimum of 50ºF and rising both during application and for a period of at least 24 hours after applications. Do not apply when rain is forecast within 24 hours. Keep from freezing. Close container when not in use.

Coverage: One gallon will produce enough patch mix (when mixed with sand and cement) to fill .86 square yard (approximately 7.75 square feet) at

1/4” depth.

When used as a Crack Filler: One gallon will produce enough material to fill 75-150 lineal feet of crack, depending on depth and width of crack.

Drying Time: Allow patch to harden completely before applying coatings or opening to foot or vehicle traffic.

VOC: This material contains less than 150 grams of volatile organic compounds per liter.

Caution: KEEP FROM FREEZING. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not take internally. If swallowed, call a physician immediately. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water for 15 minutes and call a physician. Do not apply when rain is imminent. When not in use, keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage. Do not store in direct sunlight or above 100 ºF. In case of spillage, absorb and dispose of in accordance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
